My very own New England

This is the fall I've been dreaming of!
This splendid, vibrant array of amazing colors straight from God's paintbrush.
This is the fall I grew up knowing and completely taking for granted.
Had I known I would someday live on the opposite side of the states would I have stopped and drank in its beauty?
All you New Englanders, I'm jealous!
The other day as I was standing at my kitchen sink I looked up and noticed my little, straggley bush in the corner of my yard.
I was thinking how cute and bright it was but how bald when suddenly it hit me: God delivered me my very own piece of New England right in my backyard!!:)
Its definitely not what I've been dreaming of or hoping for but it'll do.
It will do just fine because now I can stand at my kitchen window and if I squint hard enough I can maybe pretend I'm in New England.
Plus I feel special that God already knew way ahead of time that this fall would come and I'd be New England-sick (you know, kind of like homesick) and decided He'd grow me my very own piece of spectacular foliage:D
How great is He?!!

Thats sweet Karen! Have you ever been to Bend in the Fall? They have a lot more fall color than we do..its more Aspen trees, so more yellow, but still gorgeous.
