Here is a fun, little project for any of you crafty moms..or any of you not so crafty moms. Okay, its so easy its for anyone! Talon loves anything that flies and when it comes to rockets he's intrigued. So I had seen a glimpse of a rocket like this (although I think it was 100% cuter) on his favorite Sprout channel. When I saw him carrying around this plastic bottle today I thought "Tada! Something to keep him busy with!" So I put him to work...taking over not much later because he became covered in black paint. (oh, and do I have to admit that his lines weren't as straight as mine could be? I know, I know..Something I am working on!)
He loved his bottle rocket so much he flew it all the way to the park and back! And this child hates to walk..he would rather ride his scooter or in the stroller.
Nothing like watching your boy be so entertained and become so imaginative from a plastic bottle! I couldn't help but walk behind him grinning at his cuteness. Isn't this just the picture of innocence and boyhood?! Love it!!

nice job. how did you fix the "wings"? just glued to the bottle? Emerson would love it, we might have to do this project.

What a cute "creative idea" again....My boys will be trading me in for a mom like you! :) I should do this with them someday.
