2 DOWN... a bazillion to go!!

first off here is my kitchen curtains finally finished a YEAR after they were started!! yes, i readily admit that my procrastination skills deserve an A+! but i trust that God is still working on me (haha!) & isn't He the one who gave me the brain that overflows with so many ideas i start another before i finish the last?! THANKS to my friend, Heidi, who motivated me to start & motivated me to finish:) i found a picture in a book of curtains at the fabric store & we then preceded to make our own pattern. unfortunately i don't have the greatest photography skills or the greatest camera (speaking of is now dead..r.i.p dear friend) so if you'd like to see them personally i'll put the coffee on;D















and second..introducing the dining room project i mentioned a couple posts ago. so i've had these paintings forever & have planned just as long to bring them in & have them framed & matted. well, i finally came to the conclusion that would probably not come to pass very soon & decided to paint some bigger "frames" around them. i love the look altho, again the pic is not the greatest quality. it was taken on my super dandy phone camera(beacause if you didn't happen to catch it before..my real camera decided it was time to make its way HOME..camera heaven that is) which makes the colors look pretty darn muted & gray. so i played with it alittle to brighten it up, but again..i've got the cookies & coffee if you want to enjoy my attempts at making my home cozy:D come on over!
