Rain, Rain...

Rain, rain go away...
Come again another day,
Little Rowey wants to play
Rain, rain go away!!
You know you live in the pacific northwest when your 1 yr old will stand at the slider door & look outside & sing this little diddy in his baby words! (Okay, to be completely honest he does only know the 1st & last line unless I'm singing with him. I just like to make him sound extra smart.) I can always tell what he's singing because him & his brother have both been blessed with the ability to carry a tune at a young age. And whenever I happen to break into that song (which lately has been quite often), he joins in & heads for the window to see if it really is raining...he's still young..still learning that he doesn't even have to check to know that yes, honey, it is still raining!

So with the thought in my head of 'you know you live in the pacific nw if...' I set out for google & found a few more that made me chuckle.
  1. You take half a day every July 1st searching for your sunglasses and sunscreen that you packed away last Sept.
  2. You get very, very happy when the early morning weather forecast includes the term "sun breaks".
  3. You never go camping without waterproof matches, ponchos and a mattress pad that can double as a floatation device.
  4. You know that people who use umbrella's are not from around here.

We are antsy in our pantsy's for the sun to shine and summer to come and make his home!!

p.s...aren't those lil baby legs just the sweetest things you've ever seen?!
