This was a last minute, little project that took maybe 5 minutes. We had a not so attractive gift certificate that was being given as a gift. We had no attractive envelope in which to give it. So I had to come up with an attractive little way to dress it up...
First I dug through my scrap drawer and found some cute paper to work with.
I made an envelope with one of the pieces and folded the other piece around it.
Grabbed some ribbon to match, went through my stash of charms.....
And
Voila! A much cuter, much more attractive little gift than what I started with! I really like the personal touch it adds to the gift. Thinking this will be my new way of gifting gift cards/certificates. I haven't had an ounce of craftiness coming out of me lately..just frustration looking at all the craftiness that
needs to get done and having no motivation to get to it! So this was fun for me and I think it broke my crafting dryspell..I hope anyway
