setting the record straight

For those of you who have asked & those of you haven't but have still wondered at my ditzyness...it is R-O-W-E-N not r-o-w-a-n. This post is for you, miss anonymous who asked:) I am the mom who cannot remember how I spelled my baby's name!! Yes, sweet hubby & I have argued twice about how it is spelled & he finally had to tell me to just go look at the birth certificate. I admit it. I have quite frequent spells of amnesia, don't ask me what I wore yesterday, don't ask if I remember the groceries I need..even with a list!! Birthdays, anniversaries..what are those? I remember my own, my husbands & my kids but please don't ask me to remember yours. If I've met you twice & even chatted it up with you don't be surprised if I have a brain lapse next time we meet. Does this mean I live life any less or that I love you any less? No, it probably just means I will have completely lost what little I have left of this precious mind by the time I'm 50. I'm praying for the opposite!

This is funny! Tenaisa didn't know for a good 24 or so years that her name is actually spelled T-a-naisa. Funny her mom forgot too! At this point I'm not sure if she cares how ya spell it =).

That is hilarious! Especially after all the thought and effort we put into choosing the perfect name when they are born:) Wait until you are 46 and see if you can even remember that you ARE 46!
